It is the year 1943 and rumors have it, that the Germans are about to deport all Danish Jews. The Jewish jazz musician Arne Itkin, his wife and their 5 year old son quickly realize that they have to flee to safety to Sweden, in order to avoid the horrors of the concentration camps.
