Realizing that her unknown biological father is probably alive, Sofia leaves behind a degrading and humiliating life and embarks on a journey with her naive half-sister Olivia, both girls hope to find the caring father figure they so desperately need. They find Adam who suffers from post traumatic stress disorder. However, that does not stop the girls from trying to get in contact with the former soldier. Adam is constantly on red alert but at the same time he finds that his feelings for the daughter he had never expected to meet are growing.
